Performance

• S&P 500: 1,33%

• Nasdaq 100: +1,4%

• My portfolio: 6,3 % (USD) / 5,66 % (SEK)

Market pulse

August inflation came in “cool enough” (CPI broadly in line; PPI softer), and traders leaned into a September Fed cut. Lower yields mechanically support long‑duration growth/AI names, so mega‑cap tech and semis caught a broad bid. Oracle’s AI‑cloud shockwave then re‑ignited the AI trade: blockbuster guidance and a very large AI‑cloud backlog sent ORCL up ~40% in a day—its biggest move in decades—and pulled money back into AI‑adjacent software, cloud and chips.

Crowd vs. price

The uptick in prices was met with stable crowd interest overall.
